Seattle Day 3 Photo Dump

06 Jul Seattle Day 3 Photo Dump

Revolutions Coffee…my new favorite hang out spot.
The view from Kerry Park. Dawn, my host, roomie, and friend took me out for a bit of sightseeing and she did not disappoint. Can you see Mt. Rainier?  [Look right.]
God is, per usual, up to something very cool. This woman and I have in common the minutia to the grand importante. Hashtag bonding.
#yogaeverydamnday Awkward/Chair pose…also…Marley. She is fluffy and precious.
Humans of Seattle.

Meet Benny. I was taking a picture in front of a beautiful mural when he came up and told us that he was “the benny,” the artist whose signature was emblazoned on the mural behind us. I could hear my dad’s voice ringing in my ears, his final words to my departure: “Make sure you watch your back.”

I was on guard as this man took my hand and explained to me the confrontation he had with the city of Seattle and his demonstration of art. {Moral of the story: Art wins. Boom. Every time in Seattle apparently.]

It was not until after he had called me “enchanting” {ok fine, Mr. Rastafarian….I swoon.} and a man walked by and said, “Hey, Benny.” that I allowed my guard to come down. Then…I absolutely enjoyed this man and his beautiful, intriguing spirit.

“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.”
{Bob Marley}
