01 Apr all of the good stuff!! {& i missed you.}
Hello my most favorite people in the entire universe!
If I was more technologically inclined, I would send this post to your inbox with a few bars of chocolate because the longer you are away from someone the more chocolate you will want with your entry into your beloveds’ lives. (Because: happy tears, obviously.) I would package it up in all the colors of the rainbow because you deserve more than commercial, VDay red.
Alas, I cannot. But I just want to tell you how much I have absolutely missed you. So much.
With the restructuring of my blog, I took a little hiatus. But when the website still took longer than my ‘taking longer’ expected, I couldn’t wait any longer. I just missed you too much.
So before we get down to the nitty gritty, I want to update you on a few things going on around here & answer a few questions I have been receiving.
[New website: coming {{SOON}}. Have I been saying that forever? Yes. Yes. I have. But these things take time. [Note to self: wait until these things are done for announcements.] Forgive me. Please Well…stick around anyways and make sure I am not a liar. {I’m not.} You are going to love it. Again, try to prove me wrong.]
What can I expect here around Impractical Dreaming? You can expect me, coming to your inbox with a lot of love every Tuesday & Thursday. Oh my goodness, I can barely stand it. I cannot wait to shower you with some love & watch each of you break through chains of shame & show up like woah in your lives. I’ve seen so many of you do it. It just keeps getting better & better. Your power & freedom in Jesus amaze me. So watch out: Tuesday & Thursday.
How can we connect more? I love you so much for asking this question! There are a lot of new faces & names around here so I have made a facebook page for all of us to gather & slay shame & spark courage together.
www.facebook.com/emilylorinlifestyle Come on over! We absolutely cannot wait to meet you, you ferocious warrior.
As always, I am here as well:

What the heck is Emily Lorin Lifestyle{ell}? Is it the same as Impractical Dreaming{id}? The answer is yes & no. impractical dreaming has & always will be the name of this blog. After all, it is what we do here. We dream of all the impractical things. We dream of lives not dominated by fear/shame or, good grief, insecurity, but led by freedom in Jesus & the beautiful, awesome, kick-ass people we were designed to be. {We dream of all the happy.}
As I have connected with more & more of you in different ways, it became apparent that I needed something to encapture all of the ways that I love to get together with you. So ell is a way to connect over yoga, life coaching, (& as if I even need to say it) shame-slaying, courage-spreading, & counseling.
i.d. & ell are the same, but different. They are conjoint twins, if you will. Or even if you won’t.
Ok, I think I answered all of the questions. Anything else? Come at me with your questions. I’m ready.
Now, the fun{er} stuff:
New yoga class! My sweet friend has opened a new studio in historic Roswell called Korsi Yoga. Join me Monday mornings at 10am for a “Back to Basics” class. All levels are welcome to come play! Your first class is free. Now, all your excuses are gone. We’re going to have so much fun!
And, it is with much giddy anticipation that I must tell you….
This May I will be hosting Yoga Book Club!
Are you looking for a space for yourself? A couple of hours out of your day to dive deep into the awesomeness of your spirit & let that soar?
Do you love books?
Do you {want to?} love yoga?
If you answered yes to any or all of the above, then you’re going to absolutely fall in love with yoga book club.
For seven weeks we will dive into BrenĂ© Brown’s Daring Greatly: how the courage to be vulnerable transforms the way we live, love, parent, and lead, exploring what shame is and how it manifests in our lives. We will uncover the fears we still hide behind & discover ways to equip ourselves to show up bold, beautiful, & uniquely awesome.
Then we will spend 45-60 mins on our mats diving into the concepts previously discussed, clearing out the clutter, the tension, the emotional residue of shame & practice our courage.
As we show up on our mats–boldly & courageously, lean into the pain & discomfort, so we also show up in life.
We will begin meeting Saturday mornings meeting off of Old Alabama Rd in Roswell in early May for seven weeks. Cost is $90. Private message me on facebook @ emily lorin lifestlye for more details & registration.
[Do not fear you otp-ers, it’s right off of 400, just 15-20{ish} mins from your home.]
Eeep! Ok, I have talked your ear off! I love you. Let me hug you.
See you soon!
