A day to Memorize.

DSC_4016

18 Jun A day to Memorize.

I’ve been sick the past couple of days. With a fever. I don’t do fevers so well. Last time I had a fever I laid in my kitchen floor crying because my body hurt so bad. Melodramatic? …No. It was completely reasonable. Promise.
Anyways…I’m in recovery today, so I am loving and thanking Balmorhea for keeping my company the past few days and thought you might enjoy as well.

At the end of “Just Married,” Ashton Kutcher’s dad tells him that, “You never see the hard days in a photo album… but those are the ones that get you from one happy snapshot to the next.” Today this is what I am resting in. Do you have a stockpile of memories that make the small, mundane, or otherwise crappy moments of life, better?
As I reach back into my stockpile of oh-so-delightful memories a day on the lake is one that sticks with me today. A day for simple fun. No requirements. No expectations. No lists. No schedule. Just friends. Water. And a great day…
Did you notice we are on different sides? The boat didn’t stop to make that switch. đŸ˜‰
Happy Saturday, xxxoo
