09 Oct #8: expect the unexpected
Remember those intensives I have told you about? The ones where I go to school all weekend for approximately thirty hours between Friday and Sunday?
Well here I am again.
This weekend though, it’s not about trauma, addiction, or sex so I am thoroughly enjoying myself as far as the class goes.
My professor = incredible.
The topic (counseling and spirituality) = the best.
But here’s the deal…sometimes life’s a bitch, a pain in the butt. It’s unexpected and hits you in the face. And even when you think you’re having a great day, things can change in a split second.
So I don’t really have much to say today except…to expect the unexpected. You aren’t in charge and can’t make the plans. And even when you do make plans there is no guarantee they will work out.
So I leave you on this 8th of October…with this song to lull you and keep you until tomorrow.
