For over ten years we’ve been taking this exact same picture.
Veil Malfunction.
My most favorite thing about wedding planning has been something that has nothing to do with the planning itself. The get togethers have hands down been the absolute most wonderful thing about the upcoming wedding (besides getting to marry my best friend, obvi). I told my Nana that I did not want to plan another wedding, but I would certainly take all the events (even minus the gifts…in case that is where you’re going. Without the gifts..) They have all still been priceless. My friends and family have come together to create some of the most wonderful memories I will ever have. Joining me for veil/dress fittings, random nights eating Thai food and talking coordinating, parties, taking pictures, sporadically braiding my hair (trial run) in the…parking lot of a froyo joint, accompanying me to all sorts of ventures and even going at it alone while I’ve been preoccupied with school or work. I would not have a) been able to have a nice, put together wedding, or b) emotionally been functional for my wedding without the support of these incredible people in my life.
Oh how blessed I am.
