Inspired.

You know those people that simply shine? They walk into a room and you can feel their energy. They bubble, they overflow, they live life with the passion life is meant to be lived with. They chase the things they love fiercely and inspire you to do the same. They throw precaution to the wind, take risks not just anyone would, and live big…do you know those people? I bet you do and I bet you love spending time with them. 

If you don’t, well…I hope you find one.

I have one. Her name is Callie. She is one of my most favorite friends. She came into my life like a fun, fresh, and funky breath of air. I met her approximately five months before graduating from UGA. And it was a whirlwind of months. She fanned the flame in my heart for photography, she inspired me to buy my first onesie, she introduced me to spontaneity, and she helped me learn how to be free from others’ judgment, and be genuine. 

How do you teach these things? 

By living them.

Friends like these are rare gems and I feel lucky to have one.

Every time I spend time with Cal, she reminds me of the life I am meant to live. A life not restrained by logic, expectations of others, or cultural norms or rules. But instead I am to seek a life that loves adventure, longs for beauty, and finds it, in every moment of everyday.

Honestly…how many of your friends can you say you snuck (?) into hot tubs with in the middle of finals…in the middle of November? Or that you stayed up too late (also in the middle of finals week) to make your own rendition of Gaga’s” Bad Romance?”  (Seriously. It happened. We have the video to prove it. And. it’s. awesome.)

Life passes with every second. Once it passes you can’t get it back. You can’t change it or redo it.

So make each one worth it. Cheesy? It’s possible. I can tell you though, from experience, that there is no greater way to live. 

The girl’s got in going on. And it’s infectious. I have never found a person better at being who they are.
