Twinkly lights

09 Dec Twinkly lights

Wednesday night I needed to deflate. After a week of finals and papers I needed a simply great, chill evening.
Wednesday night did not disappoint. Surrounded by twinkly lights, snuggled up close to the boy, with a cold, red nose, and some hot cocoa…my hear could have burst with cheer.
I realized that night that this time of the year what I would normally refer to as “hot chocolate” magically becomes “hot cocoa.” There’s something very magical sounding about a mug of hot coca. Who needs hot chocolate?
That’s how the night felt…magical.
You can just pretend this is us walking under the romantic canopy of twinkly  lights.
The Atlanta skyline wasn’t too shabby either.
Seriously love that skyline.
These were set to Christmas tunes. Kinda strange, but so fun.
You know those moments that give you the warm fuzzies inside? …well this was one of them.
Bokeh flowers…
The stroll through enchanting sparkly lights was followed by sushi…which is so clearly my favorite.
That’s why I ordered Chicken Teryaki đŸ˜‰
…followed by Tempura Cheesecake…mmmmm
If you live in the Atlanta area and want an intimate, not too pricey, absolutely amazing place for sushi…I highly suggest Gekko. It’s near Ponce and so delicious. The food is so fresh and the people were incredibly friendly.
My friends…that’s a magical Christmas. So much more to come.
Happy December Friday!
